Bio

Karen Wong has been interested in and working at the intersections of new media, urban strategies and architecture for a number of years. She is interested in the imbrications of physical and virtual spaces and the disruptions between public domains and private spheres. Recently, her focus has shifted more specifically to urban planning and design, as strategies for new experimental practices with regards to thinking the city, as both a social and physical entity. She is interested in new uses, urban requalification and spatial appropriation as means to generate experimental collective imaginaries.
