This text is a statement about the process of Creolization in Reunion Island at the begininning of the 21th century. Francoise Verges and Carpanin Marimoutou wrote it as a preface to the MCUR (Musee des civilisations et de L'Unité Réunionnaise) scientific program.
The text puts in question the notion of identity and the notion of origins by replacing Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean zone as a flux space and a crossing history cultural spatiality.
